Need help with modifying an existing DVC reservation

I apologize if this has been covered before. As I DVC newbie, I can't figure how to modify the guest info (including the primary) on an existing DVC reservation online? I know it's probably something obvious once pointed out. Thanks in advance.

Modifying has to be done by Member Services. Call or email them. Not sure if "Chat" can do it or not.
 
Chat can certainly add guests (I did it yesterday), and in sure they can remove guests, but they probably can't change the primary. I expect you'll have to call for that.
 
Best is via the member website contact form. That satisfies their security requirements, (a direct email doesn't) they will work the changes working from your contact form and they will email you back when completed.

I find that doing things in writing with MS improves the chance of getting it right.

For all the reasons Bill mentions, I am an enthusiastic supporter of using the "Contact Us" method for all non-urgent reservation modifications.
 
Thanks everyone. I ended up calling. I am surprised Disney doesn't provide more functionalities on its website.

It does seem like technologically we should be past waiting on hold on a phone do to changes like that. The only good news/silver lining is that when you do get someone on the phone they are usually very helpful and any time I need them to confirm how points are being used or what the total number of people allowed per room, etc, they are happy to answer all of my questions and ask if I need anything else.

Since Disney pays for the website and it's upgrades DVC is usually the last to get improvements.

I still remember when we HAD to call because there wasn't at an online booking feature. :teeth:

While I would certainly like to see additional features added to our booking engine, I can easily live with what we have - especially since the email contact us option works so well for non-urgent changes. Since the online booking engine became available, the only times I've had to call involved OTU points and I don't see that perk ever getting added to the online system.

FWIW, I'd rather they add options (gift cards, reward cards, etc.) to the the online dues-paying system before making changes to the booking engine.
