We are staying at HRH and really don't know much at all.We have a poolside room and ANY suggestions for room request(room #s for nice views ect) would be very much appreciated. Also any comments, tips, ect would be great. Thanks so much ;)

When will you be there? Hard Rock has Dive in Movies on certain evenings that are lots of fun. They also rent cabanas by the pool that many enjoy. The Kitchen is a restaurant there that has a great buffet or off the menu breakfast daily. Emack and Bolios is an ice cream place that also has quick breakfast items in the AM each day.

Have you signed up for a Loews Card? If not you can read about it and do so here

At check in it never hurts to ask about a free upgrade, if it isnt busy they just may put you in a deluxe room. The walk to the parks is quick! Very! Explore the different floors, on each there is neat memoribilia.

Have a wonderful time! :)

Thank you so much for all the great info.We are going to HRH on April 23, 24, and 25 (and then its off to Disney) Now Disney I have planned to the minute but I have never been to universal and was in need of some help.Thank you so much.

Where on LI are you.I am in Wantagh (if you know where Jones Beach is, Im pretty close to there. Its always nice to meet a fellow NYer.

Thanks for the helpful info and have a great night.

I always like to request 'upper floor' with a poolside room - like to be a bit further away from any noise that might be coming from the pool and I like the view of the parks from up high. 7th floor is only for club level guests, so you'll be below that unless you're staying club level. 3 of our last 4 stays have been at the HRH and we love it - last stay in Jan we heard a lot of noise from the hallway and next room that we had never heard before - but still a great trip. I second JessicaR on eating at the Kitchen - we've enjoyed 2 wonderful dinners, a great outside seating late dessert/drinks and last trip tried and liked the breakfast buffet. In the hot months or when travelling with a group (or being joined by FL friends/family) we really love renting a cabana (it's 1/2 price if you're on club level) - gives you a great place to relax and eat meals (you can order from the Beach Club) when you're coming and going from the parks all day and night until the pool closes (teens love having a tv!). I hope you enjoy your HRH stay as much as we have ours - next trip we're going to try PBH and I'm a bit nervous to leave HRH, but want to try them all for future reference ! :smooth:

You are very welcome! I'm in Saint James, near Smithtown. I know your area well, during the summer we are there a lot between the beach and concerts.
