Need help with dining reservations

Hi all -- hoping someone could help me. I have my DVC trip planned starting on May 24. I was albe to secure ressie for the first 2 days, but told they had to transfer me for anything after May 26 -- after getting disconnected once and being put on hold for 50 minutes, I was told that I could not make any reservations b/c I did not have the meal plan, and that the +10 rule ONLY applies to people who have the dining plan NOT just on-property lodging reservations. I tend to do thorough research, but maybe this got away from me. I am back on hold (going on 20 minutes again). Can anyone provide me with what is going on? MUCH THANKS!

That is not true. ANYONE staying onsite can take advantage of the +10 rule. I wonder if there's not confusion b/c of DVC though. Are you renting or the owner?

i am the owner. i do not feel bad saying this, but i really laid into the CM on the phone, and told him he was wrong. when i asked to speak with someone else, he put me on hold -- surprisingly, he came back on the line about 4 minutes later and asked for my lodging reservation info, and all was good. i am extremely irate, b/c i did not get my le cellier ressies, , which is the reason i started calling at 7:15 am this am. i know i should have been on the phone 20 minutes earlier than that...but couldn't with getting me kids ready for school. i also had to change the day that i was planning onn CG -- which is really not a big deal. i go the other ressies i wanted. of all the years -- this is my first "i am really disgusted with how disney is operating" experience. i just can not belive that it is SO inefficient. thanks for the info back.
