Hi,

I have put alot of thought into our meals because my DH and DD have not been before and I want to make it special for both of them. I only have breakfast and dinners scheduled because I know we will be stuffed otherwise.

Here is what I have so far:

Breakfasts scheduled at Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickey, Princess Storybook dining and Kona Cafe

Dinners at the Yachtsman, Flying Fish Cafe, Coral Reef and Jikos

Do you think I should change any of these or have I made good selections. I originally had one breakfast scheduled at Ohana's (Lilo and Stitch) but I switched it back to Kona because I heard it was really good. Thought DD would also like the Coral Reef because of the aquarium. When DH and I go to Jiko's we're going to let her go play at Simba's Cubhouse.

I've heard great things about FF but I saw an updated menu (3/08) and was concerned that the selections of food were kinda out there (even though we love to try new things).

Any tips or advice would be so appreciated and then some!

Thanks,
Tandra

I think it sounds wonderful!

We havent done the finer dining (b/c we always schedule character meals for the kids!) or Konas but CRT, CM & PSB are great!

Well first off Congrats on taking your family to their first WDW trip!! how exciting!!! And as for my suggestions, i LOVE  Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom. They have awesome food (and it's a buffet!) and the Character interaction has always been awesome when we have went. They have breakfast buffets but i tend to go at dinner. Also, I would reccomend the Sci-Fi Dine in Theatre. Not only do you get to sit in this really cute car and watch old drive in flicks, :3dglasses I've always had amazing service and awesome food here as well. My favorite dinner and dessert is here! Steak and the Chocolate Tart! yumm! So maybe if you had time, you could try these two out as well! :thumbsup2 Have sooo much fun on your trip!!! :yay:

I think you have made some great choices too! I have been to some of them and others you have picked, I have also picked for our trip in December. Have fun and enjoy the food!

I just wanted to second the other suggestion about Crystal Palace. We have tried Chef Mickeys a few times (even gave it another shot last summer) and still prefer Crystal Palace over it for character interaction and food! Either way, your choices look great! Enjoy!

There are soooo many possibilities:

My family (me, DH and 3 DS) enjoy eating at O'Hana's for Dinner. The kids learn hula dancing and there are coconut racing during dinner. The food is served like a Brazilian Churrascaria, but with a Hawaiin twist.

Marrakesh is a great place for dinner (or lunch) at EPCOT. Moroccan music and belly dancing. The food is very good.

We also had good food and laughs at 50's Prime Time Cafe at Hollywood Studios.

And another fun place is Teppan Edo (formally called Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki)at EPCOT. They cook right in front of you. The onion volcano is something my boys go crazy for. (And my oldest is crazy about Godzilla, so he loves going to the store below and checking out the toys there -- we found some Godzilla figures there for him).

Hope you have a great time!

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rolleyes1 :cheer2: pirate:
