Going in 2 weeks with my wife and 2 daughters (ages 4 and 2). I've never done a sit down meal and this time we are going to do 6 sit- downs (thanks to the dining plan) I NEED ADVICE!! Are these good selections for our group? Am I forgetting any great ones? - of ourse Cindy, is off the table (no ressies)

Here is our current plan. Any Suggestions?

1 - Chef Mickeys (characters)

2- Ohana

3 - Whispering Canyon - This is one I've been thinking about switching

4 -Le Celier (our nice romantic dinner with 2 girls in tow!)

5 -Coral Reef (kids like the fish)

Thanks All !!!

Ummm. Not to be a wet blanket, but, do you have these reservations yet?!!!!You're going in two weeks?!!!!!! Please understand that you may not get some of these choices. Reservations can be made 180 days out now and several people do that.

Good luck though.

I think you have great choices for you and your family! :thumbsup2 In fact, we have ADRs at 4 out of 5 of your choices for our trip in August-Chef Mickeys, Ohana, Whispering Canyon and LeCellier. :teeth: Great choices-great variety, Docsooner! Have a wonderful adventure!! :wizard:

I think those are wonderful choices. :thumbsup2 We just did O'hana and WCC with our 5 and 2 year olds. They enjoyed them both. I wouldn't change a thing!! Have fun!!

I would have to agree -- if you haven't already made your ADRs, you may be disappointed. I tried yesterday to make an ADR at LeCellier 13 weeks out and I was completely shut-out for the entire day. So no LeCellier for us this August. But there's always next time.

Good luck! princess:

It sounds to me like he does have ADRs already since he clearly mentioned Cindy's was off the table due to "no ressies" (available I assume he means). I think he's just wanting our opinion...

There'll all good by the way!

Yeah we do have ressies already for those above. Thanks all for the comments. I just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing a "must do" restaraunt - though I know there are many other options we would also enjoy.

Thanks - 12 days left!!

We dined at your first three choices last year with our two kids, then 2 and 6. Chef Mickey's for brkfst, Ohana and Whispering Canyon for dinner we enjoyed them all with no regrets, CM was a lot of fun, Ohana was great, during dinner we saw Wishes, WCC was a hoot. On our next trip we won't be revisiting any of them though, as I want to try new places. ;)

We have 4 y.o DD and 21 month old DD.

We will be going in 3 days, and our ADR's are:

Arkhesus Princess Dining (going for the character dining experience, not the food)
Coral Reef (kids like to see the fish and we like to eat them)
Crystal Palace (another character dining experience for the kids)
Boma (heard a lot of good things about this place and a chance to see AKL)
Chef De France (a little treat for the wife and I)
Alfredo (not too sure about this, but my wife likes Italian)

I just started making our ADR's last month, so some places like 1900 Park Fare, O'Hana or Fantasmic Dinner package (Mama Melrose) are already sold out (unless you want to go at 9:30 pm for a dinner).
