Need help with decisions

Ok, so we currently own points at Saratoga. We stayed at Beach Club and were bitten by the add on bug. So we called our guide and were put on the waitlist for Sept use year 150 beach club points. Our guise broke down our request to 2 75 point contacts.
Fast forward 9 months and we see a resale available from the time share store for Sept use year 100 points. We jump on it, send a deposit and it goes to Disney for ROFR.
Today, 2 weeks later, we get a call from our guide that we have come up on the waitlist and there are points available with points from 2008 on the contact.
So did Disney magically come up with these points b/c they saw our name on the contract from the resale? Very happy and just not sure how to proceed. We really wanted 150 points and we will be at 175 with both contracts if we pass ROFR.

I would probably go ahead and get the points through Disney, especially because they come with 2008 points as well.

Here is another thought...since you have not heard about ROFR, is there a possiblity that Disney has the points because they excercised ROFR on your resale contract...long shot, I know. But did that resale contract come with 08 points?

I would find out from your guide how long until you have to grab the contract. Also, remember, that you have 10 days after you sign the add on contract to cancel it.

If you are unsure, add on through Disney and if the resale comes through and you realize you don't want the full 175, cancel out Disney.

Personally, for 25 extra points, I would just do both as you can NEVER have too many points..plus, the cost of 100 resale and 75 through Disney is probably very comparable in price to what it would have cost you to buy all 150 through Disney.
