I just can't seem to get my days in order; want to have a great time but an worried about overdoing it....

Here's what I have planned. Staying at the Caribean Beach.

Fly in Saturday--Hoop Tee Doo.

Sunday--MK--but we also have tickets to the MNSSHP which will be a very late night!!!! We plan to leave MK about 2--go back and rest a couple of hours; eat at the resort and then head back to MK for the Halloween party. Chances are, we'll leave by 10.

Monday: Up in the air. The night before will be late, so I hate to get teh girls up so early (ages 5 and 6). We have PS at the Grand Floridian at 6 p.m. Would like to go back to MK to see one of the big night parades....

Tuesday: AK--leave about 1 and head to Epcot for ice cream social at 2:50. Got PS for Japanese that night at about 6. Stick around for Illuminations.....another late night for us.

Wednesday: All day at MK. This will be our last day for hte park.

Does this sound feasible? What would you do Monday morning? Sleep in? Get on up and get going? I'm thinking that if we sleep in and get out by about 11, then we can have a decent day at MK.

I am thinking that MK will be the park my girls enjoy the most, so I would rather spend a lot of time there and just a little time at AK and Epcot. No MGM for us.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!

TIA

First of all, I like the schedule and it sounds like you are going to have a blast! The only comment I have is that your days sound very long with two young children. Our experience has been to make sure you get a couple of hours of quiet time, sleep, swimming, whatever.....during the afternoon. You will find this invaluable in allowing all of you to go late into the evening each night.

If your Monday is up in the air, sleeping late might be a saviour to everyone....maybe hanging around the resort to swim or going to DTD to shop will be a nice change of pace from the parks.

Just a thought......

I have to agree with Gene. Based on 5 trips last year with our 5yo DS, an afternoon break is a MUST EVERY DAY! Even in cold weather and shorter park hours. The parks are just too over stimulating. I would also rent a double stroller, so the kids don't have to do all that walking. I would skip the ice cream social and get your rest. Go for a swim and take a nap. My best piece of advice is to leave the park BEFORE the tiredness sets in.

We attended MNSSHP a few years ago and did not go to a park until the party. We ate at the resort early and then went to MK. They were letting people in early so we were able to walk right on Pooh, Peter Pan, Dumbo, tea cups, race cars, and Buzz. This worked great because later in the night we thought the park was really crowded.

I would probably go spend Sunday morning at AK and leave early go back to the resort, rest, and then head to MK early for the party. My kids really enjoy AK.

You could also spend Tues morning at MK and then take the monorail to Epcot for the ice cream social. My kids enjoy taking the monorail over to Epcot.

just a few ideas

Sunday is also early entry at MK so unless you get there really early it's going to be crowded. I also think AK would be better on Sunday. Also, don't under estimate the things at Epcot for young children. You may want to just spend most of the day there on Tuesday or like someone else suggested go to MK for awhile and then head to Epcot. My 4 yo DD really didn't like MK that much but she loved Epcot. Have a great trip.
