Need help with coffee gift basket

My mom got my SIL a cappuccino machine for Christmas for the purpose of making herself lattes at home. Since she's so hard to buy for I thought I'd get her a gift basket of different coffees, but since I'm not a coffee drinker I'm not sure why type of coffees you use to make lattes.

So please help me figure this out. Do I just get regular coffee? Or should I go to a specialty coffee store and get her some?

Do you have a starbuck's near you? They sell a variety sampler of coffees for like $10. You could buy that and a bottle of their carmel sauce, the mocha powder, and a package of biscotti from a store and wrap it up. If she doesn't have one or I don't know if the coffee machine does it include a cheap coffee bean grinder.

what about a burr mill or some nice cups. You could also dip spoons in chocolate and wrap. Maybe a book on how to make all the different coffee creations?

You need espresso to make a latte. It won't taste if you use regular coffee. I you go to Starbucks they can help you with it. They also sell differnt flavored sauces and syrups.

I received a coffee gift basket once and loved it. I don't remember everything that was in it, but I remember those dipped spoons and....above ALL.... a package of chocolate covered espresso beans! Oh my goodness....a crunchy caffeine fix with a chocolate chaser! Handful of those and I was wrapping gifts with my toes, baking cookies and singing Christmas carols, all at the same time!

I do know that she likes the cinnamon lattes there so I guess I can get the flavored syrup along with the espresso.
