Need help with clues for Universal trip

DH and I decided to take the kids on a trip to Universal Orlando for their Christmas gift this year. We will not be there on Christmas. I think we're checking in on Jan 1. Trip has not been finalized yet. But we did tell the kids we are going on a trip. And that I'd give them a clue every week until Christmas. But I'd love to give them one every day! But 37 clues? And I've never been there.

What they know so far - it's a trip. We aren't flying. It will be between Christmas and when dd's classes start back up. And we've never been there. I won't lie in the clues. But they can be something only technically correct. (Never been there - we've been to FL. We've been to Orlando even. But we've never been to US or IoA.)

Oh, we're probably staying at Portofino Bay.

I figure the next clue could be that ds may need a new swim suit - but that could be as much for an indoor pool as an outdoor pool. And ds is in a growing season, the jeans I bought in September already don't fit.

Oh and I have a dd who cooks so I may have a clue about Emeril. He has a restaurant at Portofino right?

the hotels really book up for the new years eve period.

Emerils is in city walk.
Tchoup tchoup is located at RPH.

So many more... try to give clues based on the different "lands" and areas of the 2 parks. Don't make them too easy!! LOL

You could use ride quotes such as:

"Welcome home, you've arrived" ET
"Your souls will be mine for all eternity!" Mummy
"It'll be ready next Wednesday" Men in Black
"Well... what would YOU do If you mother asked YOU?" Cat in the Hat

stuff like that

I'm sure we could all help with that.

You could also give them a piece of a puzzle that joins together to be the entrance to IOA or USF or just bits of photos of the parks as clues.

You could also give them a URL that links to something from the parks such as the link to Jurassic Park the movie or ET the movie or a roller coaster manufacturer or a character of some sort. Could also be a restaurant or store .

You could make a special facebook page that has a new bit of information each day and they can check it out. That could be a written clue or a photo or a link.

The question is how quickly you want them to figure it out...here are some that are pretty dead giveaways but might be good as it gets closer.

For the Emeril fan, what about

You should cut a picture of the Universal Studios globe into 37 pieces. Then put one piece on the fridge each day until it completes the picture!
