I have an 8 year old daughter (who is through the Princess phase) and a 4 year old son. Other than Chef Mickey's (which we are already booked for) what would be a good character meal for them? I was thinking of the one with Little Einstein's at Hollywood and Vine. Any reviews on this? Is there a toy story character meal? Because my son would just LOVE that. Any other ideas?

Ohana's breakfast with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto was awesome. It is served family style so you don't have to get up to get your food. The food was delicious and yes, they have mickey waffles! Stitch was so funny and was causing so much trouble! They have a parade around the restaurant for the kids to join. It was very good! We are going back in October!

Crystal Palace has Pooh and firends. Your 4 year old will like it. It's a very prettty place with great food right in the Magic Kingdom. Ohana for dinner isn't a character meal but it is a lot of fun. The kids get to do the limbo and other fun things during dinner. The food is great and kids can order something else liek chicken fingers, mac & ch... if they don't like the menu. Another one we are trying that is not a character meal but is suppose to be lots of fun is WCC in Wilderness Lodge. My kids also liked Sci-Fi in MGM. They thought it was fun to eat in the car. Again not a character meal.

What about Ohana with Lilo and Stitch? Or Cape May Breakfast with Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale in their bathing suits?

We like Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary and Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom. My daughters (now ages 17 & 20) love Winnie the Pooh and characters at Crystal Palace.

My sister and I really enjoyed the Akershus princess lunch in the norway pavilion, epcot. She was 7 at the time but the best part was that the princess really take the time with everyone. When we were there Ariel asked us where we were from and then she went on to say how she was just in binghamton, ny with the ice show. To this day 2 years later my sister still tells people that Ariel knows where she lives. We had a very good time.

I did Crystal Palace and Donald's Breakfastosaurus for breakfast and Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner on my last trip. I think between my boyfriend(29) and myself(25) we both agree that Crystal Palace was the best out of the three. The breakfast was better then the Breakfastosaurus and better organized then that one. I was also so amazed by how great a job they did of making sure the characters got around the room to everyone and was impressed we met Pooh, Tigger, Eyeore and Piglet in such a short time. (Keeping in mind the place was jam packed!) Liberty Tree Tavern was probably my second favorite because the food was great and it was fun to see the traditional characters dressed up in different clothes. The only negative I had about any of them was that Breakfastosaurus seemed a little unorganized as far as the food went.

I can tell you I'll definitely be doing Crystal Palace on my next trip and most likely Liberty Tree Tavern too.
