Need help with Candlelight Processional decision

This confuses me! I thought even if you have the CP fining package you still have to stand in line and get in it 45+ minutes early if you want a good seat.

As PP said - it depends on where you want to sit. We didn't wait in line at all by joining the end of the line at 6:15. They had just started letting people enter the theater and most of our time was spent walking in and sitting while waiting for the show to begin. For a 6:45 show I don't thinking walking through the line a half hour earlier is that long of a wait. You could still enter the line later if you didn't have a particular seat in mind. The other option is to risk not getting a seat all! For us that's not an option!

Is it just as crowded in the days after Christmas? We plan to do the dinner package on the 29th of Dec, so wondering if it has lost some of its luster seeing as Christmas is technically over...?

Unless you have a burning desire, I'd say skip it. I sang in 12 years of catholic school choirs. I know a lot of christmas music, like a lot. I still only recognized one or two songs. I think the best parts were the beginning where the narrator gets a little personal and the effect of the candles and the pretty backdrop.

Otherwise, the timing is awkward for dinner, a whole meal credit is a lot just to guarantee any kind of seating, the time between dinner and the show is a little awkward too.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice, but I wouldn't make myself rushed and cranky over it. Just walking by for the first five minutes would give you some of the nicest experience of it.

We've gone several times over the years and never wait in line - we arrive as they have started letting people in. We don't get center but we've been in the front row or a couple of rows back all the times if we've wanted. 2 years ago I did the CP package for the first show and not having anything else I planned on doing I got in the standby line and walked in again. Some of that availability will depend on the popularity of the reader.
