I take sunblock with me to WDW every year ( or any place else that I am in the sun ) and I always buy a brand name, but for the last 2 years, the sunblock gets on my whilte clothes and turns them yellow.I always let the sunblock dry before getting dressed and it still does it,so I really need some help with a really good sunblock ( I need a high SPF number).I always get the one that goes on clear and that has continuous spray, sprays at any angle, waterproof,no rub and is good for broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection.I also need a good stick one for my face.I've been buying Coppertone Sport and also Coppertone Ultraguard and they have ruined my tank tops and socks,so I need to buy another brand and any help would be great. Thanks

Blue Lizard. Expensive but very good stuff.

We like BullFrog. Has a stick for the face and a sport spray that sprays upside down and is a gel I think. My family thus far has had good luck with this brand. Usually one application of any brand and we have allergic reactions and sore skin for several days. BullFrog is procey, btu worth it to us. I buy mine from RiteAide.com.

My doctor recommended Anthelios 60 by La Roche-Posay. I would suggest buying it for your face only as its $32.00 for 1.7 oz. but it is not greasy and can be used as a foundation when mixed with the powder from Bare Minerals. I put some on my son's body as he has allergies and it did not stain anything. I love it. I just wish it were cheaper.

I also vote for Blue Lizard. Just used it during my week in Florida without any issues- or burns!

We spent the day at the NY Aquarium and Coney Island Luna Park/Beach over the weekend and used the CVS brand sunscreen with 50 SPF. It was perfect! It was a spray-on, no rub so all you had to do was spray and that's it. I noticed the areas I missed got red (shoulders near tank strap and a little on my chest) but the rest was perfect! No redness at all, it smelled great, and it wasn't oily or greeeezy.

When I was working at a dermatologist office, they would recommend the stick types of sunscreen for your face, then (believe it or not), No-Ad SPF 45 for the body. Also, they loved the Neutrogena stuff that dries sheer. That's from the MD. SPF 50 on your face, at least 30 on your body. They felt sprays were good for the scalp, but not the body (adequate coverage issues).

Now, I have tried just about every sunscreen out there. Really. Living in Florida with a pool, you have to. I like Banana Boat Kids SPF 50 lotion (http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/catalog/s...id=Shopping_Feed_Products_Google_Free_Listing) for my face (I have sensative skin and this one does not irritate), and although it works well on the body also (I put this on my 3 year old), but, I really like the new Hawaiian Tropic SPF 50 Sheer Touch Creme Lotion (http://www.hawaiiantropic.com/SkinBeauty/SkinBeauty.aspx). It dries amazingly. No problems with yellowing of clothes or anything like that. It has a nice scent, which may be a drawback to some people.

Now, my spouse, totally different. He LOVES the Target Up & Up spray - and that one is highly rated in Consumer Reports. It's waterproof & sweatproof, and trust me, he tests that! Mowing the lawn in 90+ degrees.

Hope this helps!

This is on special at CVS this week. You get $5 Extra Care Bucks with any Roche-Posay purchase.

I love, love, love Ulta's SPF 70 Super Waterproof Spray on Sunscreen. I'm pale as a ghost, and I never burn. :rotfl: It's buy two get two free right now, plus free shipping on orders over 25.00!

Not sure on the best suncream, but if you rub dish washing up liquid on to the suncream stain, then wash it in the washing machine, it gets the stain out!

Another vote for Blue Lizard. My son had 2nd degree burns one time and hasn't had another sunburn since we started using Blue Lizard.

I have used so many different brands.

I used Coppertone Sport-okay, but gets chunks if the sunscreen gets close to expiry.

No-Ad Sport- Really like this as it was a good price for a huge bottle. Then they shrank the bottle and added Disney Characters and uped the price.

Banana Boat- I bought two different bottles last year as I got good coupons off the website. Dry block (yellow bottle) is not greasy but I noticed if you sweat it seams to flake/rub off. I use it on my face as it's so light and drys quick. Kids 50, is good. Thick but rubs in nice and doesn't leave you white.

Hawaiian Tropic - Kids splash comes in a creamsicle sent. It was fine. Hawaiian Sport, is the one I seem to use at WDW. It has a small bottle that attaches to the main bottle. I put the little one in the stroller and keep the big one in our room.

I do not use spray sunscreen. I do not like it and it's more expensive than the rub on. I like to know I have enough on. I have white skin (think Casper) and it will burn if I don't apply sunscreen. One application of the Hawaiian Sport in the morning works for me while touring WDW. Now if I were at the pool or waterpark then I would make sure to re-apply.

CVS Cooling Mist Sunblock. It comes in a couple of SPF's - I use the 45, and I am very pale and burn easily.
I find 3 applications during a day at Disney keeps me from changing colors. That's without getting wet and in cooler months though.

Yes, check out the link to the chemicals in sun screen. We use Badger Balm on long days in the sun. And Avalon Organics other days.
