Need help with an added guest on our reservation

I can not for the life of me figure out what I am doing wrong or not doing correctly. We added an additional person to our reservation. She shows up on our resort reservation in "My Plans" but not in park reservations because I need to add her to those yet. I added her to our planning party and have tried to get her park reservations but it always says invalid, valid park reservation needed. What am I doing wrong? I tried calling but it was going to be a 2 hr wait, ugh!
