Need Help with a Webcertificate--Redeeming

I just recieved my Webcert from Blink and was wondering if anyone could help me. I would like to get Disney Dollars with it and remember some threads here about getting a Disney gift card online and then using it to buy Disney Dollars at a Disney Store. I also read here that someone just was able to use their Webcert number at a Disney Store and buy Disney Dollars with that. Can anyone confirm that they were able to do either one of these??


Also I will be in Downtown Chicago and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a Disney Store there that I could possibly do this at?? Thanks to all!!

this is the first time im able to help anyone usually im the one needing help in more ways then one anyway to answer your ? i wrote down the webcert # (the long # that looks like a visa or mastercard) along with the expiration date and took it to the DD and walked out with 10DD and feeling very proud of myself i tried to explain to the CM about way i didnt have my card and needed her to put the # in manually i think i got her a bit confused but i told her i didn't know if it was going to work and i figured if i explained it to her and it didn't work i wouldn't feel quite so embarassed. anyway it worked so good luck i hope i didn't confuse you if you have any more ? just let me know

I'm going to attempt this so wish me good luck. I found out from someone on the budget board that there is a Disney Store in downtown Chicago on Michigan Ave. Did the cm question you doing it this way at all. It kinda sounds like they would'nt be real apt to do it since I'm sure they would'nt take a credit card number without the card???? But maybe they are familiar with the Webcertificates. Thanks again!

We get to Chicago every once in awhile. BY any chance is the DS in Watertower PLace? we've been to that one. Thats quite a store!! Anyways good luck let me know what happens. The CM never questioned the fact that i didn't have a card but just the # but when you think about it when you order something over the phone you just give out your CC # if it wasn't good it would get declined which is what i was worried about like i said let me know what happens i'll be anxious to hear from you!!

Dznypal: I'm not sure about the DS but the person on the budget board that responded to my thread said that there was one on Michigan Ave. a couple blocks down from Water Tower? Could there be more than one in downtown Chicago??


I also thought of another question: I just recieved my first Webcert and it's for $25.00. Is there going to be a problem with my account if I redeem for the whole $25.00 worth or should I leave say $1.00 in the account to just be safe???

I'm sure there are a few DS in the downtown Chicago area. WHen we were in the Atlanta airport there were 2 for sure maybe 3 just in the airport alone!! Anyway we haven't been to Chicago for awhile so for some odd reaason the DS closed at Watertower Place I haven't read of a DS ever closing but maybe youd be better going to the one the other poster told you about just to be sure cause like I said its been awhile since we've been to Chicago.

Just in case you don't catch my new thread for you here I thought I'd post again here.

I called the Ds I'm going to tomorrow and the cm I talked to totally did'nt get what I was trying to explain with this. Did you just write everything on a piece of paper and hand it to the cm once you explained this?? Am wondering if it would benefit me to print out the info on my webcert account from the actual site to show the cm so they don't think I'm crazy!! I so want to be able to walk out with $25 DD in my hands without having to buy the card later and then at that point I won't even be near a DS before out trip!! If you have any suggestions I'd appreciate them!! Thanks a bunch!!
