I am taking a web design class. It is every saturday from 9-4 for the next 33weeks. One of our projects is to make a photo collage in photoshop that is 8 x 10 and 300 dpi. We have to use a minimum of 5 photos. I decided to us a theme "I'm going to Disney World". I thought this would be an easy theme since I already have 1000's of pictures from my many trips to WDW. I am drawing a total blank on how to get started. I have been staring at my blank photshop document for 2 hours now. I thought about showing the major icon from each park and the arch you see when entering WDW property. The first problem with that is I dont have a picture of the arch, the big hat or the tree of life. I have good ones of the epcot ball and the castle. I have looked at stock photography sites, there are suprisingly few photos of WDW on there. If anyone has any ideas they would like to share I would love to hear them. The project is due this saturday.

Since disney owns the rights to their Icon's it is technically illegal to sell them with out disney's permission hence the lack of photos on the stock sites.

My suggestion would be to see what pictures you have, that you really like, and make your collage fit the photos you have, rather than trying to find photos that fit what your idea. However if you must do what your trying to do, you can look at my photos from here http://gregghall.smugmug.com/gallery/1884888/1/94955785
I was still deep behind the learning curve on my dSLR at that point, so they are not the best, but there are a few keepers there. PM me and I can send you copies without the copyright sign.

Thanks a lot. I think I have finalized my design in my head and will take a look at your pics. I thought this would be an easier project than it turned out to be. My instructor is probably going to get tired of my WDW photos in my projects. The last project we had was to use 2 photos and pull something out of 1 and make it look like it belonged in the other. I used a picture of my son hugging flick at AK put in a landscape picture I had of Epcot.

I am not sure how picky your instructor is, but if you look at the shadow you added, it goes in the opposite direction of the shadows from the bushes. Those are the little things that people can pick up to know that it was added in. Great job of cutting them out though.

I posted the wrong one. I was to quick to jpg from a psd and used the wrong shadow layer. Good eye.
