Need help with a gift idea

My friends are renewing their wedding vows (32 years) next week and have invited DH and I to attend the ceremony. The only other guest will be their son. We've only known them for a year, so we were very honored that they asked us. We want to get them something special, but haven't got a clue what to get. Anybody have any suggestions or great ideas??

my first idea woould be a gift certificate to a nice hotel and a one for a romantic resturant. Those are the things I would love to get celebrating my 34th yr of marriage in this tough would of people holding it together for so long. Congratulations to your friends

Gail T took my idea but then I also wondered if they have a joint hobby like gardening or collecting something? Perhaps you could get a something pertaining to that? Just an idea, but I really liked Gail's answer best!

I like the idea of a gift certificate for a restaurant or event that they can enjoy together. Theater, concert, sporting event, whatever you think their interests are.
