Need Help With A Gift Album

My Mom is just getting into scrapping, and is quite overwhelmed with all of the pictures/albums that she would like to scrap. So I thought that for Christmas, it would be a really great idea to do a "premade" album that she would only have to place the photos where she wanted them and add journaling and maybe an extra embellishment from her stash as she liked. The only problem is that I'm not certain what style would be good. I mean should I try to put a series of "through the years" books together, designing the layouts by month, or how should I set up the book. Any suggestions you guys could give would be greatly appreciated.

Creative Memories offers a 7 x 7 album that I just love! It's great for just getting started because it only takes a few elements to fill up a page, and CM also sells themed kits that come with stickers, an idea book, and paper pre-cut into corners and strips. They have a Harvest theme, and a friend made a great book of all of her Thanksgivings, you could give your mom a couple of holiday- themed kits.
