Okay, I have all my dinner reservations booked, and thought I had my Resort and number of days booked, but now I'm beginning to second guess. Right now I have the WL booked for 1/26 - 2/01 with the Disney Dining Plan. But now, I'm beginning to second guess wanting to stay longer or the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan which would mean a Moderate Resort

I've found a few alternatives that would keep my price around the same as it is now, it's just a matter of making my choice.

If you could choose one out of my choices listed, which would you choose and why?

Keep in mind that it's Me, DW, DS14, DD9 and DS1.

Thanks in Advance :goodvibes

Thanks to all those who voted so far. Does anyone care to tell me why you made the choice you did? Thanks in Advance.

I picked #3

Just my thoughts - the deluxe dining plan seems like alot of food to me so the regular dining plan seems sufficient and from what I hear POR is very nice and if it means an extra day then that would be my choice.

Have fun!!!

I would try for the AS suites because of the ages of your children and go for the regular DDP. I say this because your DS is 14 and DD 9 and the beds are not queen at PO. At AS suites, the main bedroom has a queen bed, the couch and chair both pull out into separate beds and there will be room enough for a pack-n-play for DS(1) in your room. Also, with the full kitchen, you will not need the deluxe DDP, you can make breakfast in the room which is better for the needs of a 1-year-old who may need a bottle.

Just my honest opinion.

I'd rather stay at WL than POFQ and don't give a hoot about dining plans, so I voted WL. I don't know if you can take five people there, though.

Don't really care for the Deluxe dining plan... especially with your kids (do they really want to set through that many tableservices in one day?).

I LOVE the WL and would stay there over POFQ...

I picked # 3 too. I love POFQ and the Deluxe plan is a lot of food. The last plan gives you what you need and the most days at the parks too.

I would pick option #3 as well. The DDP just seems like way too much food. If you are going to be doing the DP then the extra day helps as you will be spending a decent amount of time at the table serviced retsaurants and the extra day is always a plus.

proximity of MK and the boat transportation to it at WL make it so nice. Its a very nice resort as well. Oh I love it there :).

Id rather 6 nights at a deluze than 7 at any moderate (both are long trips and its only 1 days difference). For me, the regular DDP is more than enough.

Also, keep in mind that doing the deluxe plan will mean more table service meals, which is good, but it will also mean a lot more time spent making it to reservations and eating, which significantly alters touring usually. I'd never do deluxe because I wouldn't want to take so much time out of my trip to attend restaurants.

Normally I would always say go with the longest trip possible. However, since it is just a one day difference I'd definitely go with WL.

Many people say that the DDP has too much food. I don't agree, even prior to the 2008 changes. However, the deluxe plan includes a huge amount of food. You'll be fine with the basic DDP.

I voted for # 3. Personally I think the Deluxe Dining Plan will take up too much time and be too much food. I think the regular dining plan is sufficient.
I love POFQ and would choose to stay the extra day.
