Hi Everyone!

My Disneymoon is coming up in 13 days (:tiptoe:) and I'm going over our Touring Plans for the week. I'm wondering if we really want to do two days of Hollywood Studios, or would we rather do two days at Animal Kingdom? The last time I was in the World (pre-Sorcerer Hat removal/practically all rides at HS) I felt like HS didn't need two days - even then!

Let me know what you think, I'd love to hear your thoughts

Personally, I don't think either require two days. I'd go to Magic Kingdom or Epcot - even if it's the third time. I do have us planned to go to DHS for a day and a half but I have a 9 and 12 year old and there's a lot they want to see/do. Especially autographs that take forever. :)

I definitely could not do two days at HS, but I do not ride ToT or RnR. This year, I will probably do 3/4 of a day there, because I am going to see all the shows except the LAM one. If I wasn't going to do that, I would only need a half day.

I love AK, it's my next favorite park after MK. I don't ride EE, and I don't go on Kali anymore, I cannot stand getting so soaked. I also don't really do anything in Dinoland, I guess last year, I did see Nemo for the first time. But, out of the two parks, I could probably spend two days here. I love the theming at this park and all the details and the architecture. There are a few shows outside that you can see, the drummers, and the Bollywood dancers, I think they are. As well as other musicians. I would like to try and experience them this time.

As long as I had 3 days at MK and 2 days for Epcot (that's what I need to see most everything I want to), I would do the 2 days at AK.

I'd do 2 days at AK, too. If you want to really experience everything in the park at a relaxed pace, we think you really need that extra day. Especially if you want to enjoy the entertainment. I think these performers are often overlooked. And you might even have time to do the Wilderness Explorers. It's not just for kids, and its fun.

I would also do 2 days at AK. We use to only do one day there, but have learned that two days at a slower pace is so much fun. We take it all in, where before we would just run in, do the few rides and leave.

Yes, a lot of things have been removed from HS, but they still have 3 awesome rides. For us, HS has become a half-day park. We never do a full day at HS, but we will always do two half days at HS to get multiple FP rides on TSMM/RnRC/ToT. A benefit of FP+ is that you can go into HS mid/late afternoon with 3 FP in hand. On our last trip we went to HS in afternoon on arrival day, then another day we were at HS from rope drop to about noon. Often we would combine a HS morning with an Epcot World Showcase afternoon/evening. Or HS in the morning, then pool/water park/mini-golf/rest up before going back to HS or to MK for evening.

For us, there is more to see/do at Animal Kingdom, that's also always a two day park, usually make those are our "early nights": AK until 3-4pm and then go have dinner at DTD or AKL or monorail resort, maybe resort-hop a little bit.

I love me some HS (even though it's getting a little busted), but I would do 2 days at AK I think. You could do the safari two mornings! And AK is such a good meandering park, it'd be nice to do it at a slow pace knowing you'd be come back for a second day.

I'm hoping to go back to the World in Feb and I plan to skip HS entirely. I only like TSMM there anyway. I really enjoyed Animal Kingdom so will spend a full day there. Epcot is a full day, and multiple days at Magic Kingdom. Since you will be going very soon, a water park that someone above mentioned is a great idea. We went from around 5 pm to closing. Less crowded, no waiting, great parking spots!

If I had those 3 days to work with, I'd do a full day at each, and then a half day at each on the same day, hitting the attractions we missed or want to do again. If you're done with one park (or both?), then you can do something completely different.

I can't see doing 2 days at either park .. I guess it depends how much you want to do or if you want to do things multiple times or if you have big lunch or dinner reservations that take a lot of time.

If I had to choose . .AK for 2 days .. since you can get caught up just walking around AK to check out animals.

We can definitely do 2 days at AK but I truly wouldn't plan a second day for HS. Instead of that second day hit DTD.

On my last trip, I was able to do both AK and HS as half days. If you have park hopper, maybe give both of them an extra half day? I always love MK though, so I'd probably just add another MK day!
