Hi all.

My DH and I are spending 3 days at Disney pre-cruise, Dec. 9-11. The 10th (fri) is my DH's 30th bday. I want to plan something nice for his bday but it'll be my first time at Disney so I don't know where to start. Any suggestions for dining? He's not a big fan of Italian and I don't want anything TOO cheesey. (like I want to go to the sci-fi dine in at some pt, but wouldnt have his bday dinner there). We are staying at All Star Music but we won't have a car.

I should add that I'm not the most adventurous eater. Don't like sushi, Indian food...

Thanks!!

Happy early b day to your hubby! We will be on our honeymoon the same time you are there :thumbsup2

How about California Grill, in the Contemporary resort?
You can watch the fireworks from the MK there, and the food is pretty good. It is on the 15th floor.

You can view the menu at Allears.net

Also, just an FYI- It books up REAL fast, so definitely make a reservation.

A cab ride shouldn't cost too much from there.....

Another good option, is Narcoosee, in the Grand Floridian....They have a really good surf & turf, and you can see the fireworks from here as well.... :wizard:

Oh, and make sure you get a happy birthday badge from the hotel when you check in, and when you make your food reservations, let them know he will be celebrating his b day!

Let me know how it works out!

We recently celebrated my boyfriend's 30th. We spent most of the day in the Boardwalk area. We watched some football over a beer at the ESPN Club. Afterward, we walked over to the Yacht Club for dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. He enjoyed the meal there and the special attention he received from the staff. After dinner, we walked back to the Boardwalk for drinks at Jellyrolls. Even if none of that sounds like your speed, the Boardwalk has a lot to offer. You could order a custom cake a few days in advance and pick it up from their bakery, go dancing at Atlantic Dance Hall, have dinner at Kouzzina or dessert at Beaches and Cream in the Beach Club. You could have a steak dinner at Shula's in the Dolphin and go over to Kimonos at the Swan afterward for drinks and karaoke. There's so much to do there, not to mention the close proximity to Epcot an Hollywood Studios.
