Love your choices so far for breakfast -- Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's. Try to get an 8:05 a.m. ADR for Crystal Palace so that you can be one of the first ones in the park and you'll have unobstructed views of the castle and Main Street for pictures. You can eat and be done before rope drop. We love The Plaza at the MK--good salads, sandwiches, shakes and sundaes. We usually do it for a late lunch/early dinner. We've not tried Ohanas and, unfortuntaely, we found WCC very overrated for both entertainment and food, and the service was bad too. What about 1900 Park Faire at the Grand Floridian (another character meal)?

I for sure planned on doing early CP so we can take advantage of getting in park first thing. Is the Plaza TS or QS?

I guess the main thing I really need to worry about is TS I need to make ADRS for right and everything else QS I can kind of just work in when we need too. I just read some bad reviews of 1900 Park Fare. Did you have a good experince there????

Plaza is a TS. We've not done 1900 Park Fare, but I have read some good reviews as well as bad: Here is a link to a trip report and some reviews of their visit to 1900 Park Fare very recently, with pictures:

Does your 2 year old enjoy any of the Disney character shows?

O'hanas has a great breakfast - with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey & Pluto. The food is really good and the enviroment is fun.

Hollywood & Vine gets mixed reviews on the food. We went for breakfast and found the food fine. It wouldn't win awards, but there was nothing wrong with it & they had a good variety. My DH was happily surpised that they had corned beef hash & chorizo w/eggs. Anyhow this breakfast (and maybe the lunch - we didn't try that) has June & Leo from Little Einsteins and JoJo & Goliath from their show. They sing & dance with the children as well was lead them in a parade.

We tried Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner. It is a pretty place to eat. My DH and DDs loved the food, I didn't - but one out of 4 isn't bad. :)

We tried Earl of Sandwich and all 4 enjoyed it. It is a long line, but it was a nice place to sit and eat as well.

We are hoping to try Crystal Palace & Chef Mickey's this year. On my familys "have to repeat" list were Askershush (breakfast), Mickey's Backyard BBQ, O'hanas (breakfast), CRT (more for the surroundings than the food) and 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and dinner. These were hits with them.

I also like your choices :thumbsup2 CP bfkst, CM bkfst & Ohana dinner are basically "must do's" for us each trip. Wolfgang Puck & Earl of Sandwich are nice CS choices as well, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there unless you planned on being at DTD for a significant portion of one of your days. We're also early risers & usually get the earliest breakfast adr possible - if we have a bkfst adr then we usually don't eat lunch - maybe a snack or cs at most but definitely something quick & easy if anything at all.

My 2 year old actually hasnt gotten too into Disney yet she will watch Mickey Mouse clubhouse and Tigger and Pooh every now and then so she knows who they are. Is it crazy to go to Disney if she isnt that into them yet?

I tried to get her to watch the classic Fox and the Hound but it didnt hold her interest.

For sure am hoping to grab a sandwich from Earl after all the great things I am hearing.

Thanks!

Sweet thanks! We are planning on hitting up DTD the first day we arrive so good to know those are two good choices there and on the dining plan!!!!

That is what I thought we probably wont be too hungry at lunch after doing bfast buffets.

Again thanks so much you guys are sooo nice!!!!;)

Your two year old will do just fine. And I'm guessing that in six months she'll be even that much more into all things Disney if you "brainwash" her appropriately! ;) If you can schedule a pretty significant break after lunch for some down time, you'll ALL do better! :thumbsup2 And your two CS spots at Downtown Disney are two of our favorites. WP's has a bit more variety, but Earl is a great bang for the buck. I think it's their bread that makes their sandwiches so good.

Your choices are VERY kid friendly. Looks real good to me.

We used to live in Murfressboro, btw.

Oh, yeah ... go grab a copy of "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World." It's got some terrific hints on traveling with kiddos.

That is what I am thinking once we go to Disney everything will be Disney from there on out!!!!!! We for sure plan on doing a break after lunch till the evening hours.

We live in Cleveland which is really close to Chattanooga and a couple of hours from Knoxville.

Are you only going to visit only MK and only for two days? I wondered since you will be there four nights, 5 days, what plans do you have those other days? You had said a two day ticket so I just wanted to make sure.

If this is the case, it is good that you chose dinner choices where you will not be in the park. It looks like Crystal Palace is the only one in the parks. For a day you are not in the parks a trip to AKL might be fun. Your daughter may enjoy visiting there because there are many places to view animals. Boma is good, my preference is breakfast, but if you are adventurous dinner is good too. Otherwise you could eat at their CS rest., it is good.

Your TS rest. are good choices for children. I have not done any of them, other than Chef Mickey's, but hear good things as far as entertainment with children. We are trying Ohana's for breakfast our next trip. I think my kids will like that.

Yes only 2 days and plan to do MK for those 2 days as I think it will be something my daughter will really enjoy only being 2.

Our arrival day we will be driving in a 10 hour or more with DD trip. So I dont have anything really planned for that day maybe DTD once we arrive and get settled. Then one day we dont do parks I plan on just relaxing at the resort pool and grounds. Then our last day we will be up early to leave!
