I'm planning our first trip to Universal for November. What tower and/or (standard) rooms should I request? I have a Loews first card so I might be upgraded to a water view, but I'm more concerned with a convenient location - close to pool, restaurants, whatever. Also are there certain rooms or towers that don't allow pets? Any help would be appreciated!

Tower 1 is probably the best - with the views of the park and close to the pool. Tower 3 is also close to the pool and the closest to the boat landing. Tower 2 is the tower which allows pets. If you want a good view request a high floor as there is a lot of greenery around which could block your view.

Room 3300 was all you described but it was a King Suite. #3302 is a standard pool view. Pets are Tower 2.
