Need help renting a SUV....

I spent about 2 hours the other night plugging in codes from Mousesavers to try to get a SUV for Oct 28-Nov 6 and all I could get were prices of high 300's to 400's. I thought that was alot. What am I doing wrong? I need a car to drive down to Tampa for the day but at this point it looks cheaper to rent a car for the day and use a Towncar service for the airport and grocery stop. Any suggestions?

Have you tried Budget? We rented an SUV through them in may and it was cheaper than renting a compact - about $130 for 4-5 days.

I will say that we did not pick up at Disney but instead down by Universal and dropped it off at the airport. I don't know if that makes a difference.
