I have read the info on the meal vouchers and I admit it--I came back out of that thread feeling light-headed. So, I will try this way-

We are a party of 4-- DH, 2 grandsons, ages 9 and almost 12 (both with healthy appetites) and me.

Which vouchers and how many, would you recommend we get to use for 1 meal at each Rainforest and at Beaches 'n Cream?

Also, possible considering the Pepper Market at CSR. Same question--how many and what kind?

Where do you advise I buy the vouchers and how much will they cost?

Thanks for all of your help!

All three of those places are very good values for your vouchers. Unless you cannot agree on the same food choices, I recommend splitting meals. This is how I would do it:
  • Beaches & Cream - 2 Q&C vouchers. Split between your DH/DGS9 & you/GSG12. Order extra drinks for 2. Share the 2 massive ice cream desserts.
  • RFC - 2 VKLs. Order extra drinks for 2 and maybe an additional entrée if you're really hungry. Combine the vouchers to get the volcano for dessert.
  • Pepper Market - 2 Q&C. You get a lot of food here for using the vouchers. Extra drinks for 2 and perhaps an additional side order to round things out.

You can purchase them at Connections123, Simple Escapes or Hotwire Savings Club. You need to join these clubs in order to purchase the vouchers but they do offer free trial periods. Q&C vouchers cost $11.50 each and the VKL's are $31.00 per adult.

You can also purchase the vouchers from floridaorlandotickets.com. However, you will pay more for the vouchers by buying thru them.

I consider myself a smart woman (duh)...but I can't understand the meal voucher thing for the life of me....it's not that I don't understand it's "applying" the vouchers to "what" is what I don't understand.

I've been reading that two people can eat from the same entree...I've been hearing that it's not logical to use vouchers at some places. Some say they should be used at CR. I don't know where to start. I'm going to work on my plans and come up with places we want to eat. Then I'll come back here and ask.

I have a headache...I'm way past light headed-ness.

If your grandsons have "healthy appetites", then you may want a few more Q&C vouchers than Mad4theMouse suggested. DH &I didn't have any trouble using a whole Q&C voucher each at some meals. If you have extras, you can sell them via DISauctions.

THE VKL vouchers costs a lot more, so I'm not sure buying extras is as worthwhile.
