I was planning a quick weekend trip to Paris while I was in Copenhagen for work. I just found out I can take an extra day - so I'm planning on going to DLP next Friday. I've been trying to research on the web but I still have a couple of quesitons.

I am planning on staying at the Courtyard CDG airport (with free marriott points) ---> what's the best way to get to the parks?

I see that there is a character breakfast - is it only available for guests staying on property?

I have been trying to go online and price staying on property but the sight is down - do they have transportation between the parks and the hotels? I'd like to see the hotels as well.

What about other character dining options?

Any tips on a one day touring plan - I'd like to get in as much as possible but don't want to burn out. I'm planning on being there at rope drop and taking an afternoon break.

How hot and crowded is it going to be. I was at WDW FL last August but had a lot of touring tips to avoid lines based on my research, don't have a clue on how to do DLP so any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

I can help with the character breakfast/other dining query - you don't have to be staying at any Disney hotel to book this. Character breakfast is at Cafe Mickey in the Village. Character lunch or dinner is also at Cafe Mickey, or the Lucky Nugget Saloon in the Disneyland Park. You can also have Character tea party at the Plaza Gardens restaurant in the Disneyland Park.

You can get the VEA shuttle or TGV train directly from the airport to the resort.

There is transportation at the train/bus station between the parks and hotels . But they are all within walking distance so you might want to use your afternoon break to walk up through Disney Village and round the lake to see them.

There is a Marriot Vacation resort nearby that has free transportation to the parks. Could you use your point's there ?

My tip for touring is get a fast pass for Peter Pan first then go and do all the other biggies - BTM , Buzz , Phantom manor, SM. I always find Fantasyland has the biggest queues. IASW and POTC seem to ahve the fastest moving queues.

You could also use your afternoon break to do a character tea party at Plaza Gardens. Lot's f yummy food and some character interaction too :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for the tips. I wasn't aware of the Marriott Vacation resort - I'll have to check that one out.

I'll keep reading all the great posts in anticipation. :thumbsup2

I thought last year was my 'disney' year but this one is shaping up to be another good one.

We have a Christmas trip planned for late Nov/ early Dec. Then I found out last week that my companies August conference is going to be held at the Yacht and Beach resort in FL and now this chance fell into my lap.

I've been a very lucky girl - must have some good karma.
