Need help quickly with ??? about paying with gift cards!!!!

Mine is not showing a remaining balance. There is no payment info at all.
I wonderif it is because I am on my iPad.
Maybe I'll pull up the computer quick and see if it shows up there.

This is exactly what kept happening to me. Each time I tried going in, whether it was on my IPad or my desktop, I got the same error message staring that there was a problem with the system and I couldn't view my balance. I tried calling Disney's technical folks several times and they just kept telling me they didn't understand why I couldn't view my balance and kept suggesting I just pay off my balance on the phone...it was extremely frustrating. Even now, if I log into my account, I see no pricing information at all on my ressie. I really hate the new website!

Weird! I've been paying off my balance $50 at a time with gift cards. I just take 4-6 at a time and type them in online without a problem. Totally worth the cost savings to me! I JUST booked a few weeks ago, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it!

I may be wrong, but I think I remember someone else saying that they had a bunch of lower denomination Disney gift cards from Target and went to their local Disney Store and used them to purchase larger denomination gift cards to make payment for their trip less time consuming. I purchased gift cards at my local Giant Eagle to get the FuelPerks, and I was able to purchase cards for $500 or $100 increments, as well as lesser amounts.

Can you buy the target gift cards online and get the discount? Usually if you do that you can use them immediately.

They aren't using Target Gift Cards. They are purchasing Disney $50 Gift Cards with either the Target Credit or Debit card. Since the Disney GC is classified as an "Entertainment Card" you get 5% off your purchase. Doing that you get $50 worth of Disney GC for only $47.50. You can purchase Disney GC online from Target, but they don't email you a code. They ship a plastic GC to your home.

Well, I bit the bullet and ran to Target to buy the gift cards i need to pay off my balance.
Since I can't get my balance to pull up online, I guess I will have to call WDW and sit on the phone with a CM for a ridiculous amount of time in order to use all the cards! Sigh!!!

I just called my local Disney store to ask them if I could use a lower denomination Disney GC to purchase a larger one and they said NO. They told me there's no way they can even enter it in the register...it was worth a shot anyways!

For what it's worth, it didn't take that long when I used 44 gift cards in one telephone conversation (maybe about 20 min?) but I had scratched all of them before making the call..Good Luck!

If you have a Bi-lo- I noticed 2 weeks ago they are now carrying Disney gift cards in $25 denominations. Kudos to the cm's on the phone, I bought a bunch and paid $1500 remainder on our trip with them and earned fuel perks too! Gonna buy enough for some spending $ and to pay for our photo pass!

The OP most likely want's to pay with Disney gift cards purchased at Target because when you use the Target Red Card you get 5% off your purchase. Disney gift cards are included in this discount. By doing this she would save a little more off her trip.

I used both my Red Card and Pharmacy Rewards and got nearly 10% off of Disney gift cards. I saved $248 on $2500 in Disney gift cards.

Wow, you learn something new everyday! That's brilliant. Now I have another way to try to save money off a Disney vacation versus just the free dining. Thanks for the tip/clarification.
