Need Help Quick with a Mears question

Help please! I'm leaving early tomorrow morning for WDW, but plan on using Mears a couple of days to go over to US. I just started wondering if the driver can take a credit card, or do they have to have cash? I seldom ever carry cash with me and just don't think about it. Also is there any place at US/IOA that I'd have to have cash?

Also does any know how long the trip from CBR to Universal and from Universal to CBR takes? We'd like to get there before opening and we have ADRs at Chef Mickey's and 'Ohana on the same nights that we'll be at Universal, so need to get back in time for those. Would Mears pick us up at CBR, but drop us off at the Contemporary or Poly that night? Both of those reservations are for around 8pm. What time would you have Mears pick us up? Thanks!

The Mears shuttle driver will take only cash. No credit cards accepted. But, you may be able to pay with a credit card when you call to book your ride. This is how it works...
You decide what day you want to head to US/IoA. Then, the day before you want to go, you need to call Mears. They will ask you what time you want to be at US/IoA....then they will give you a choice of times for your pickup based on when you want to be there. You can either let them know at this time what time you want to return, or you can call them a few hours before your desired departure time and they will give you a time to be at the bus stop. But you must call them 24 hrs before you want to go to US/IoA...you can not just walk up to a bus. I saw people turned away who had either not made previous reservations, or who had made reservations but had no cash on hand.

The ride takes about 45 mins or so, could be an hour. The shuttle will most likely make other stops along the way..so plan accordingly. I would imagine that you could be dropped wherever you wanted. We had passengers who were 'supposed' to go to SoG but asked if the driver could drop them at DTD iinstead...wasn't an issue, but we were in a van not a full sized bus for our return trip. Ask when you call to make your reservations.

You can all purchase Mears transfers at any Mears desk at MCO. Just tell them how many days you want to go to Universal from Disney resorts, how many people and you will get the printed vouchers.

You still have to call the day before to get the reservations, but you will have the vouchers in hand.

I think there is also a place where you can pay for Mears at the Dolphin. I seem to remember some type of Mears desk there when I was renting a car. However, someone would need to verify that in person.
