Need help quick! 180 day is tomorrow- CRT info

I am confused by what I am reading as far as the CC requirements for reserving at CRT. I know I have to provide our CC# even though we have the Deluxe Dining Plan. Will they actually charge the full amount at the time of reservation or will it just place a hold on the card? We don't use CCs and I only have one with a small limit, so I'm not sure what to do now. I know the full price for all of us (7) will not clear our card. I looked on the Disney website and it only says that the $10/person to hold and I couldn't find anything about CRT charging full price up front anywhere other than on these forums. HELP!!!! I plan on waking up at 4am to start getting on the phones...

There is no charge on the CC. The number is used if you are a no-show on the day of the reservation.

You will need to go through My Disney Experience and link your resort reservation and Deluxe Dining Plan when booking CRT. You can either book online or wait an hour and call the dining reservation line, especially if there is a glitch and the online system wants to charge your card.

Even if you use the DxDDP to make the reservation you will need to give your cc information just in case you don't cancel before the deadline and then don't show up for the reservation. The no show penalty for CRT is the entire amount of the meal for each person on the reservation.

There is no $10 fee to "hold" or make a reservation. Whenever you make a reservation that asks for credit card info, you will be charged $10 per person if you don't cancel the reservation before the deadline and fail to show up at the restaurant. Exceptions include CRT, Hoop De Doo, Spirit of Aloha Luau and Mickey's Backyard Barbecue which will charge the full cost of the meal or dinner show.

Dining reservations can be made:
Online: 6 AM Eastern Time
Phone: 7 AM Eastern Time

I got charged the full amount for CRT when I made the ADR. I just added the dining plan so hopefully this charge will get removed.
