Clothes are from Gymboree (the majority), Gap, Children's Place, Ralph Lauren, Polo, Nike, Good Lad, Reebok, plus more name brands..
There are Onesies, Sweatsuits, Coats, Swim wear, Long/short sleeve, Long/short pants, Sweaters, Christmas/Easter outfits, Several vests, etc
Some items still have tags.
I'm thinking of 1.00 each on all shirts, $2.00 each on all pants.
Onesies, Holiday Outfits, Coats/Jackets and Jumpsuits will vary from $5.00 or less & would consider any REASONABLE offer on Complete Lot.
Does this sound fair?

Are you pricing for a yard sale? If yes, then cheap seems the way to go. But if you are pricing for ebay, then brand names sell very well, you could get at least $5 per item of Gymboree especially.

I'd love to see what you have it you are looking to ship.

I think those sound fair, but I agree with the other person, if your going with ebay, you usually get higher prices offered for those name brand clothes. Last time I sold my kids clothes on ebay I made a lot. I think I ended up selling a few different lots of my DD's onesies and things like that. I need to do this again- soon. The clothes are building up again!

i sell all of my kids clothes to a gently used shop. i find i make much more money this way.

but, for a yard sale 1-2 dollars is appropriate

For a yard sale, those prices sound about right, providing the clothes are in decent condition without any stains. If you're ebaying, you could use those prices for a starting point, but they'll likely sell higher. Our local Once Upon A Child resale shop rips you off bigtime - they were going to give me $1.50 for a beautiful holiday dress in pristine condition (then turn around and sell it for $15). I took it back. I find they give you pennies on the dollar. Hopefully other resale shops are better than the one around my neck of the woods!

OR you could try what I just did a couple weeks ago: I grouped a bunch of brand name clothes in good condition into one lot and listed the whole thing on Craigslist.com in my area (Craigslist targets major metro areas and their suburbs.) I took photos of the clothes and posted on Kodak photoshare, put the link in the FREE craigslist ad and within a couple days I had many inquires. I sold the entire lot for $45, which averaged about $1.95 per item (pants/tops/sweaters), and the person came to my house to pick it all up, so I didnt have to package or ship it. I recently sold all my DD7's Thomas the Tank stuff on there for $175 - no fees to pay to ebay or paypal. I'm loving it.

I agree with all the others, if yard sale those are good prices but on ebay I'd start at 1.99 or 2.99 and see how it goes. I have made tons on ebay recently selling my kids' clothes however my dd's clothes out sell my ds's clothes by at least 2 to 1. I do have a hard time getting rid of ds's clothes and I've even offered free shipping lots and its all brand name clothes in good or excellent condition. Normally the brand names on ebay sell well but it depends on how many of your items are highly desired. One of my daughter's gap outfits sold for as much as I paid for it :confused3 :rotfl: Good luck I hope you make out well!

I think those prices are high for a yard sale. Most of the people around here could care less about brand names....they just want things cheap. I would go 50 cents an item or $1 a set. Items like fancy dresses or coats I would go no higher than $2.

If you are selling on Ebay or at a special sale or something like that, the prices seem reasonable.

I sell my dd clothes on ebay. I always try to sell outfits.

If a nice Gymbo, Gap or Nike outfit. I usually get between $10 and $20 for it. If it is just an average outfit around $7.00.

I wouldn't bother selling Carters, Okie Dokie, GreenDog (actually any average run of the mill brand) save that stuff for the yard sale.

Thanks everyone, the lady came last night and swooped up ALL of ds clothes for what I was asking, plus, wanted to know if I had anything else (which I do) and is coming back on Sat. :thumbsup2
