Congratulations! My DH did the same thing for me. He was going to propose at Christmas time, but as soon as he got the ring he couldn't wait and proposed right away.

My DH couldn't wait either... I had just stepped out of the shower, wearing nothing but a big fluffy towel, hair dripping, etc... I would have liked to look a bit more 'presentable' for the big question!!!! Oh well, that was almost 18 years ago... and we're still happy! I would imagine it will be a DCL cruise for your honeymoon??? We'll be on the 5/27/06 sailing- hope to see you there!

Well we are going in 2005 and 2006. The 2006 cruise we are planning on getting married on. So we will be right there for the honeymoon! We have the Roy Suite, so it will be very exciting!

Congrats Travis!!!! My husband always said to me - it really does burn a hole in your pocket once you have the ring. The hardest thing he said he ever did was wait after having the ring to give it to me - so he can totally sympathize with you. Plus - knowing us women, we do everything to screw up the plans anyways. I know I did my best - he wanted to go to a park to give it to me, I wanted to climb a mountain first - Something always doesn't go right. Better to have just gotten it over with and started those awesome feelings right away!

Well, we are going on the repo cruise in August, but thought we would wait until we have the Roy suite for such a special occasion.

Never know, we could just elope to vegas!
