My family will be in Disney March 13-20. We are three adults staying at the Yacht Club. After 24 years of traveling to Disney, you would think I hathis down pat. However, with Covid protocols in place, and the lack of FP, I can’t predict the crowd levels. We have planned the following:
1 day MK
1 day AK
1 day EP (actually 2 half days)
2 days HS
1 day Blizzard Beach

With this plan, I have 1 day free. Will I need a second day in MK, or should we take a day off and relax around the pool? I made a park reservation at MK, but that can be cancelled. Our dinner reservation for that day is California Grill. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

We usually do two days at MK. There is a lot to do at that park and doing two days gives us a chance to do more rides before the lines get really long for the rides. :)

Our default schedule for a week trip is a non-park day in the middle. We go hard during the park days and the non-park day helps us recharge and enjoy the remaining days.

If it were our crew we'd do 2 MK, 2 EP, 1 DHS (maybe 1.5 with the new stuff) and 1 AK (maybe .5), with a rest day and no Blizzard Beach (especially that time of year). YMMV. Have fun!

You could make a park reservation now for MK on the Blizzard Beach day, then cancel it when you’re there if you decide you don’t need a 2nd MK day. That way you won’t have to worry about wanting the 2nd MK day but finding it booked up.

If you are only doing 2 half days at EP why don’t you do hoppers and do 1/2 day after your AK day and a 1/2 day after either HS or a 2nd MK day??

APs or tickets? If tickets, one more park day may not be very expensive. About $17 (+tax) for one more day. You can do an additional day at MK and spend pool time on any day you decide to leave the parks early or take a midday break.

If possible, I also encourage the idea of upgrading to PH tickets and hopping to EP. One or more of the EP days could be changed to MK. Also, you could hop on an MK day or HS day. The benefit of HS would be that you get the chance to try for ROTR and after either riding or failing to get the coveted boarding pass, move to a new park that night.

My family likes to go into EP to eat around the world during festivals and having PH would let you go in any night you feel like trying some of the Flower and Garden offerings.

We will be there the week after you. We are doing two MK days, one AK day, Two HS days and park hopping to Epcot on some of the evenings (provided there is availability, and I figure there will be).

We always do two days at MK, but maybe you could take the morning to refresh and go in the afternoon? I can't stand to be there and not at a park, but that's just our family, we never take an entire day away. I would do 2 MK, 1 Epcot, 2 HS (since there's so much new stuff) and 1 AK. But whatever you decide, it'll be wonderful!!

I don't have anything valuable to add, but I just have to ask if this is some sort of a regional saying! I've never heard "hathis" before - I can deduce that it's a contraction of "have this" - but this is a new one for me! I love learning about different regional ways of saying things!! (I distinctly remember hearing Craig say something on the Dis Unplugged podcast that sent me down a rabbit hole where I learned that in the northeastern US people drop the "to be" from some verb phrases - things like "the car needs washed" or "the kids need fed." This kind of stuff feeds my nerd brain!)
