Need help please--arriving November 6th--how do I make dining reservations?

Feeling like such a dork but it's been a few years since we've been to WDW and so much has changed. And by changed I mean became so complicated it feels like a part time job.

We are staying at Beach Club Villas. We rented through DVC Rentals who was the "go-between" with the actual owner of the DVC points.

I'm assuming I can book dining and Fast Passes via the website. I already have an account and website loaded. I have registered everyone for Magic Bands, etc.

I live in Seattle, so on Pacific Std Time.

My question---EXACTLY WHEN--as in what time on what day should I log in and get the reservations.

On the ap today (Saturday) it only shows dates avail beginning May 4th. I assume this means I am too early for the 180 day booking. And what is this extra 10 day business?

Your 180 days is not until tomorrow, May 10th. You can begin making reservations at 6:00 AM EST online. You have to make sure that your resort booking is already linked to your MDX account. If your resort is linked, then you will be able to make all your dining for 10 days.

Looks like the PP got it covered for you. I will add that I wouldn't use the app, use the website on a computer if at all possible. It tends to be faster, and a lot more stable than the app.

Any hard to get reservations that you want, I would try to book FIRST, then go for the easier to get stuff.

Midnight for FP+ . . .UNLESS >>> Magic Kingdom is open past midnight on the night you need to book then it could be 1 am.

I always do ADR's and FP+ online.

Yes our resort is linked with MDE and it shows our magic bands. Thanks for the tip of using the desktop computer instead of the ap on my phone or iPad.
So if tomorrow is our 180, I wonder why the ap shows Nov 4th as only day that's taking reservations?

I'm sure this is all whiz-bang streamlined but damn....I long for the day you could just walk up and wait in line for a ride and make dinner reservations on the phone. Yes I'm old.

Have your cell nearby. My window opened today and the computer would only book for my checkin day, although the calendar function looked like I could book length of stay. Ended up having to do it on the app. Disney IT is messed up a lot, particularly the last few days.

Fastpass plus isn't bookable until 60 days prior to your arrival. ADR's are 180, so keep in mind what park you want to be in for fastpasses when the time comes to book ADR's.

Did you have your magic bands from a previous trip? We book next week (180 ADR) I don't have MB. Thought they were delivered a few weeks before trip
