We went on our first family trip to Disney last November when the kids were off school and had an excellent time. I was thinking we were at least another year away from going (secretly hoping for every other year) Last night, my husband shocked me by saying maybe we should go to Disney in November. I couldn't believe it!!!

Last time, I had everything planned and confirmed by Memorial Day. Now I don't even know where to begin looking for deals on rates and codes. Last year we were one of the people that was relocated to the Poly because of the rehab at CBR, so we had an amazing rate for an Deluxe hotel. I don't think that will happen again.

Can someone point me in the direction of some room only codes? I joined Starwood Preferred just to cover my bases. I also have a Disney credit card and am a member of AAA. I'll be doing some serious research to see if I an put together a reasonable package, if not, there's always next year.

Thanks for your help.

Wow, momofbrian, you could be me!! We went on our first trip in November of 1999 and had a blast -- so much so that we went back in Nov 2000 and Nov 2001. We then planned to take a couple of years off, but my husband surprised me less than a month ago with the news that we were going again this November (although he has us going over Thanksgiving, which we've never done before). I've NEVER not had the whole trip planned less than 6 months in advance!!!

Here's where we started: we called CRO with the info we had and checked the AAA rate, the AP rate (not out yet), etc. to see what was available for what price when we were going.

Then, the great folks here told me to check www.mousesavers.com for more codes. Try those things and see where it gets you to start with. I'm sure you'll get some other great advice here! Good luck and congrats!

momof brian, have you ever used Dreams Unlimited. They have great deals, set up you itinerary, and make all of your PS's.
I used them last year and again for this November 7-12.
