First time going to Adventurer's Club, not sure how long you need to spend time there to appreciate it. I know doors open at 7pm. Trying to figure out to make plans for Raglan Road before or after. Please help!! Thanks!! :sunny:

I would eat before going to the AC. It is often delayed in opening due to private fuunctions. Also if you eat first you wont feel presured to leave at a certain time if you are having fun.

I'll save yourself the hassle; Raglan Road isn't worth it. I'm extremely libreral when it comes to judging restaurants, but sadly Ragland Road is one of the very few that I simply hated (for a lack of a better word). Over priced food, AWFUL service, and the atmosphere was not that of a Irish Pub (the place was way too loud and reminded me more of a Dance Club in ireland more so than an authentic Pub). That's just my opinion though, and your experience may be different..however it seems like I'm not the only one who had such an awful experience.

Anyway, to answer your question, if you should so desire to do Adventurer's Club, do it after Raglan Road. The shows are far much more livelier later on in the night.

Adventurers' Club is a place that, I would guess, people really like or really don't like. If you do like it, you will most likely want to spend at least a few hours there. It takes some time to figure out exactly how the club works...unless you have had advance advice, which we did not. There is always some little something going on all over the place, but if you want to see the "go into a separate room, somewhat scripted show", these happen about every 45 min., if I remember correctly. (It's been nearly two years, but we are going back in March...YEA!) We, obviously, really liked our experience there. We spent probably 3 hours, going in and out of the showroom. I think we saw about 4 skits total. (Skits, showroom...those are my words. I don't know if there is other lingo that one uses for the AC.)

I would recommend not to schedule dinner reservations for afterwards, because you may not want to leave. (We had grandparents babysitting our kids, so we left around 10:30 and were very disappointed we had to leave.) One of the other posters was correct when he mentioned that the show gets wilder as the evening wears on. Of course, if it ends up that it's not your type of place, leaving for a dinner ressie probably wouldn't be an issue.

I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
