My future hubby and I have decided to go to WDW on our honeymoon. We'll be staying in a Marriott that's close to WDW because a relative is letting us use their time share and hey you can't argue with free. We'll be flying because we're from Utah and we have a problem because we're too young to rent a car (we're both only 20) and the hotel doesn't offer a shuttle service to the park. Also he's never been to WDW so I want him to get an awesome experience because I'm the one that convinced him that this would make a fabulous honeymoon so any tips for that would be much appreciated. I would just like everything to be as stress free as possible. Also any tips so that we can get a few perks with it being our honeymoon and all would be great.

Are you sure there isn't any shuttle service to the parks? I stayed at a Marriott in Orlando recently and while it was very limited, they did have a morning shuttle and an evening shuttle to the parks. If they don't, look into other hotels nearby. Many of the hotels in the area are extremely close together, so you could potentially walk to another hotel that has a shuttle service.

I don't suppose one of you will be turning 21 before the honeymoon? If you were 21 you would be able to get a car rental, there's just an extra fee for being under 25.

The only option I can think of to get to the parks would be a taxi. I took one from the Marriott I stayed in to Universal and it was about $10 each way. If Disney is about the same distance that's what you'd be looking at. It's probably worth the cost for the convenience, especially if you're saving money on the hotel.

I have personally never ridden on them, but Orlando (and the surrounding area) has a very extensive bus system called Lynx. I am not sure where your exact hotel is, but no doubt there is a Lynx stop nearby. They have lines that run from the Orlando Int'l Airport, downtown Orlando, near the theme parks (not just Disney), all along I-Drive, etc.

A quick look at the website seems like you can pay per ride, or buy a 7 day pass (a better deal).
