I am trying to plan our summer 2012 family vacation to Disneyland, but it seems so difficult compared to planning last summer's trip to Disney World. It seems like there are so many more choices to be made for DL vs. WDW. All I had to do last year was call and tell them where I wanted to stay, for how long, and what meal plan I wanted. I think the problem is that for WDW we just knew we were spending a week on vacation and it would all be spent there. I don't see us spending a week at DL, so I also have to find other things to do in CA. Now I have to decide whether to stay off or on site, meal logistics (probably without a meal plan), whether to buy DL tickets or a citypass, and figure out transportation. Am I making this too hard, or is DL not as "user-friendly" as WDW?
There are 4 of us, myself and my 3 sons, ages 10, 7, and 5.
