Need help picking

DS and I are planning our "bonding trip" in September and we can't seem to decide between Spoodles and Boma. We both enjoy trying new things. Help us choose.

My mom and I are going in Sept and chose Boma as one of ours. We really wanted to see AKL and the menu looks pretty interesting at Boma. I've never been to either though- but Boma seems to have had pretty good reviews and we're ok with buffets

I've eaten at Boma but not Spoodles yet. I didn't love Boma but I am in the minority on this restaurant. I think it depends on how adventurous your taste buds are. I also had come from a wicked rainstorm in the Animal Kingdom and ate the meal soaking wet so I'll allow that my mood may not have been up for it but it was still worth the value no matter what. I ate from the childs buffet and the mac and cheese and the chicken fingers were awesome.

The desserts here are all wonderful and I enjoyed those immensely the only thing that I could seem to taste in the meats and buffet items was tamarind spice I think. It may just not agree with me so I don't want to rip Boma for it. Spoodles menu looks good but I have no experience here. Good luck deciding.

Bomas is great!! We have eaten there several times and have never been dissappointed.

You are asking me to pick between 2 of my top 3 restaurants at WDW. (fyi for the curious .. Yachtsman Steakhouse is the other one)

We have eaten at Spoodles every single trip since they opened. But .. we love Boma, too. But .. if I only had one night .. and I had to pick, I would go with Boma. Spoodles is wonderful, but the menu is just not what it used to be.

So it looks like Boma for us. We always wanted to try it before but DH and younger DS are steak and potatoes kind of folks so we always ended going to other places. We are SOOO excited about this trip! Thanks for the suggestions!!!
