hi everyone! TIA for any suggestions. My sister is doing the dcp this fall and I'm moving to Florida in a month as well. She turns 21 in November and I was thinking I want to do take her to dinner for her birthday. We have been to Disney many times but typically eat at the same restaurants. (List below). I want to take her somewhere different but I'm just not sure where! We aren't seafood people mostly steak and chicken people if that helps. I am looking for dinner only. Thanks!!

We've been to:
Crystal palace
CRT
Tony's
Akersus
San Angel inn
Biergarten
Via Napoli
Chefs de France
Rose and crown
50s prime time
Hollywood brown derby
Tusker house
Ohana
The luau
1900 park fare
Chef mickeys
Garden grill

I think that's it lol

I would say for a different experience and given your preference try Le Cellier Steakhouse, it is small and intimate with a unique atmosphere, and there are some fun things on the menu to try, especially for her 21st, Like the flight of Icewines. We did dinner there for my 30th and still talk about it as being one of the best meals we had at Disney.

What about the boathouse? I don't do seafood and enjoyed the BBQ chicken last time I was there. Cool atmosphere and some good drinks for her to try. Also you guys can get some drinks after in disney springs :cool1:

We loved California Grill and Citricos during our last visit!

I agree with this! Cali Grill is such a great place to celebrate a special occasion! You are whisked up in a special elevator and the view is astonishing. You can see MK from the front observation deck (and can stay for the fireworks) and DHS and EP from the back observation deck (you can see those parks' fireworks from there as well!). The food is very good as well.

Not sure if you will have park tickets or not, but if you do, I would suggest Be Our Guest. Beautiful immersive atmosphere and the food is delicious and pretty basic choices. Plus you get your pic with the Beast.

If no park tickets, then I would say Cali Grill would be a fantastic choice as well!

Whatever you choice, have a wonderful time!

Sanaa is pretty unique, with the animals right outside the restaurant.
We had an awful experience at Cali Grill in 2015. I will not be back. However, I would go back to the Cali Grill lounge. Drinks were tasty.

Maybe do a Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose? They have excellent steak and chicken dishes.

Yachtsman is excellent if you are looking for a good steak. California Grill is an amazing experience, especially if you can time it to view the fireworks.

Another vote for California Grill - I make it a point to eat there every visit. Delicious food, views, and the "wow" factor is just there. Great for a celebration. (If you mention it's her birthday they might do something special with her dessert, which is a nice touch.)
