It looks like we may be sailing the Magic for the Thanksgiving '05 cruise. We are (soon to be) a family of four, and at the time of sailing will be me, DH, DD5, and Dbaby 14 months. We are looking at a category 6, and I definitely want a cabin with a pulldown bed so that the baby doesn't have to sleep in the pack and play (dd HATED hers). We are looking at deck 6, and we are people who like quiet for the most part. Hallway traffic always wakes me up. We don't get seasick, so center ship is far from a necessity. Would we be better off forward or aft? Any suggestions on cabin?

I appreciate the help!

Thanks-
Erin :D

For less noise, I'd go a far aft as possible. Our last cruise we I think there was maybe 2 cabins after ours. It was nice and quiet. The only thing about going that far aft is that the verandahs have a metal lower half instead of the plexiglass

I suggest aft as well or at least aft of the aft elevators, if that makes sense. Less traffic.

We stayed in room 8502 on our last cruise - send to last room at the bow - very quite location past the forward elevators - virtually no traffic - I presume a similar location on deck 6 would be the same.
