I am picking 2 character b-fasts. I have it down to 3. Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace, and Park Fare. Which 2 are the best? I have 2 kids, 8 & 11. We have been to CM's once, and had so much fun. We have never tried the others. We have CP booked at 8:05 so that we could be in the park before it opens (my kids really aren't into Pooh, but we thought that this was a perk and CP looks beautiful). Is it worth it to get inside early? Also, can you walk from the Grand Floridian to MK? Do they have the monorail there? Thanks for any help or suggestions!

You can monorail to the MK from the GF... You cannot however walk there other than from the Polynesian Resort..

As far as character breakfasts are concerned.....I have not done one in years and hopefully those who post here and have done one lately will respond to your question.

I have only done Crystal Palace and Chef Mickeys for breakfast, and I think Chef Mickeys is more fun, but the food and character interaction at CP cannot be missed.

I have been to Park Faire for dinner and liked that too!

We are taking the 2 nieces (3 and 10) in October and it has hard to decide! We picked Donald Breakfastourous since we were going to AK that day, CP since we are going to MK that day and on departure day Princess Storybook.

It seemed easier to go to the breakfasts that were in the parks we want to visit than drag the girls every which way but loose.

In December, we chose Chef Mickey's and Ohana with Lilo & Stitch. Both meals were good, the character interaction at Ohana was far superior. Stitch really put on a show for us. I have heard very good things about Park Fare from co-workers, but have not been there personally. Happy Planning! Maggie

CP was wonderful! Very bright, very cheery, a little loud but not overwhelming (except for a five minute conga line with the charcters), and the food was excellent and very varied. The character interaction was very good, and even if you are not a Pooh fan I'd still recommend it.

We had wonderful meals and character interactions at both CP and PF. DD was really excited to meet Mary Poppins, which is why we went there in the first place. We did dinner at CM and it was great, too. I think you will enjoy whatever you choose, but our favorite of the 3 was PF for the different characters. Alice and the Mad Hatter were very entertaining! And Mary Poppins answered all DD's questions perfectly and looked incredible!

we love park fare! cinderella, the price, alice, mary poppins, etc. very very good breakfast food, great character interaction, and you can hop the monorail to MK after! chef mickey's I like too. If your kids really aren't into Pooh then I would def. say park fare.

We like Crystal Palace and Donald's Breakfastasaurus because they give us a good start on touring the park. CP has much better food between the two. We always get an 8:00am or 8:05am reservation for these restaurants for days the park opens at 9:00am. After CP we waited at the Castle entrance and had our choice of any Fantasyland ride to be the "first riders of the day". After all the Fantasyland rides we wanted, we zipped on over to Splash And Big Thunder for many rides on these. It was a great start to a great day.

I never did 1900 for breakfast. Did it for dinner and the food is great.

CM and CP are both good for breakfast. CP is so bright in the morning that the photos turn out great.

We already have our ADR for CM for breakfast for our upcoming trip. Did not book CP this time, instead we picked Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner.

I guess I would pick CM for one of the two; as to the other, I am not much help.

Have fun.
