Need help!! on t-shirt tranfer, first timer

I'm inspired after looking all these t-shirt desings, but I do not know how to start. These are my questions:

1. What t-shirt I need to use?

2. How I printed out, can I use my own printer?

3. I know there is a special paper for it. Are all the same?

4. How do I start to tranfer the desing to the t-shirt?

Maybe there is a web or book that can explain how is done.
