Ok...bear with me as I try to explain this as best as I can. We're going down in July for vacation, but we're only spending two days in the parks. Of course that limits what we can do, but we're trying to make the best of it. Here's my dilemma; on day one, we're going MK EMH a.m., and then were planning on heading to MGM for parade, dinner at MM, and then Fantasmic (first show due to FDP). Then we were going to EMH p.m. at Epcot. I'm now starting to rethink this plan. We really have no desire to eat at MGM; we'd much rather eat at Epcot. So option two would be to head to Epcot that afternoon, eat dinner there, then head to MGM around 8:30 and catch the second Fantasmic at 10:30 (this would mean we'd miss parade). Which option would you choose??? :confused3

That's easy for ME as I think MGM's "Stars and Motor Cars" is the least interesting parade in all of WDW.

Eat at Epcot and hop to Fantasmic! (2nd show will be far less busy).

I would skip the parade too. You can take a boat from EPCOT to MGM from the International Gateway area. There are stops at the Beach Club and Boardwalk resorts but its a good cool down for about a half an hour on an air conditioned boat.

Yep I would skip the parade head to EPCOT instead- get a much nicer meal I think too! and then if you want to see Fantasmic head over to MGM(you know we still have not seen that!)

Skip the parade - I agree with Robo about it being the least interesting parade at WDW. The 2nd showing of Fantasmic is so much less crowded than the first. There is virtually no wait (we have only waited for them to clear and clean the amphitheater) and there are lots of great seats available.

Thanks for the responses. :thumbsup2 It's me, DH, DILs, and DD, and we've all experienced different things on different trips. My DILs have never seen Fantasmic, whereas my DH has never seen the parade. DD has seen neither, and I've seen both. We love using the International Gateway between Epcot and MGM, and we'll also be spending time at Boardwalk on our day off from parks. It just seems like the more I think about it, the more I rather "sacrifice" seeing the parade to spend more time (and eat) in Epcot. Anyone else have a take?
