We are not new to allergy dining at all, but have mostly brought the kids food when the adults eat a QS meal because their QS options are pretty limited throughout the Disney parks. They can do BoG lunch, but the changes in lunch menu don't appeal to me.

One of my twins will be spending Mother's Day weekend in Disney with me and his diet is very restricted (no grains, soy, egg, milk, legumes and a few veggies and fruits). Since we are attempting to travel light I'm hoping to find most of his meals in the parks this time around.

A typical safe meal in a restaurant would be a relatively plain grilled chicken, pork or beef , steamed veggies and some sort of potato free of all the above. The potato is the hard part. We haven't seen safe fries in the parks for years now. And most of the carbs in kids meals are grains. Is there still a baked potato sold in MK in Liberty Square? I remember seeing them a long time ago. I don't recall seeing grilled chicken on the kids menus but has anyone noticed it there lately?

TIA

You might want to try Columbia Harbor House or Cosmic Rays. Both have chicken as an option and they can mix and match sides to find something safe. CCH has allergy-friendly chicken tenders but they change brands sometimes so there's no guarantee of which brand will be available until you get there. Cosmic Rays has rotisserie chicken; it has some kind of seasoning because I remember not being able to get it due to my garlic allergy but it was safe for Top 8. Fries are only safe if he is able to have soy oil as the fries are pre-dipped in soy oil before shipping.

FYI - Cosmic Ray's has removed the rotisserie chicken from their menu. They still have chicken nuggets, but I'm not sure how that works with grain-free.

Sadly, I've had no luck finding a simple baked potato at the parks. Hoping someone on these boards can help.

I don't think any place sells baked potatoes in the parks, at least not a QS. I don't remember seeing them on a TS menu either.

If you have a Facebook, there is a special Disney food allergy group that might be helpful too.
