Need help loading Tink MP3 Player

OK, I confess to being technology challenged. DD and I have used Rio players for two years and I never had a problem but these new Disney ones are about to get the best of me.
Got two yesterday, Tink and MM. I can load the 32 songs that will fit onto the player itself but can't get anything onto the 512 MG SD cards I want to use to expand the memory. The device doesn't seem to realize these are there. I called the number on the back cover of the booklet that came with the players. The people there ( in some other place, far away ) say they don't even make the players. How did their number happen to be on the booklet? They did not know. I then called Disney shopping. Very nice CM was as confused as I am. She confirmed that you should be able to use SD cards with the player. I tried loading music onto the device with the card inserted thinking that it would load that way, no luck. I tried loading the card with music in the Rio player and then putting it in the Disney player, also no luck. Any help available from any computer savvy DISers?

Have you tried putting SDcards into a card reader and loading music that way?

Cards may have to be formatted, I purchased one(512mb) for my sons digicam and when I put it in camera is would not work. Camera had a format feature in the menus, after that worked like a charm.

I just ordered the Tink one for my DD - I know nothing about these so I will be watching this thread to see if you get the help you need - then I will know what to do too.
