Hi everyone. I'm normally found on the UK boards, but my friend wants to go to DLP next October, and being the Disney freak I am, I jumped at the chance to help her with it. lol

So, I know it's a lot to ask, but I need to find good sites to book a holiday for next year, any recommendations, best character meals, best Disney hotel etc, everything really lol.

She is going with her cousin (so, 2 adults) and 3 children (will be 6, 4 and 2). She wants to stay in a Disney hotel and doesn't want to drive or travel much when there. She says she wants at least one character meal.

All around the 20th (ish, half term dates but doesn't mind going a day or two out if it's cheaper), for 4 nights (I saw there is an offer right now for a free day and night, plus free kids under 7, is that right? If so, 5 nights if it's free.).

All for as little money as possible! lol

She did want to fly, but the cost is too high, so she'll most likely be going by the eurostar, although I can't find a way to book that until June?

Thanks so much for everyone's help in advance. :lovestruc

My goodness that's a lot of questions!! I'll try and help with some of them.

I find it best to book direct with Disney for the Hotels and Park tickets on Disneyland Paris and direct Eurostar with them through Eurostar however with the Eurostar you can't book until about 6 months in advance however if you book as soon as availiable you can get the tickets for as little as £65 return per adult!!

If she is going for value then she would be looking at either the Santa Fe or the Cheyenne Hotel, both of which are approx 15 mins walk from the parks or a 3-5 minute bus ride (never taken the bus myself)

For a Character Meal the two camps seem to be for Inventions and for Cafe Mickey, myself....I'm a Cafe Mickey man so that would get my vote.

Have a look at the Hotel stickies to help your friend choose. Like cap'njack said the Santa Fe and Cheyenne are the cheaper of the two but they don't have swimming pools. If that's important to your friends, then it might be a good idea to consider Sequoia Lodge.

There's lots of character meals to choose from ranging from an expensive buffet meal at Inventions to a very reasonably priced afternoon tea party.

Have a look at DLPfoodguide for menus and ideas, we also have Restaurant Review threads.
