need help in planning trip in 2 days

Ok - this is a problem - but not terrible - my husband woke up this morning and said - we need to get out of town - Tuesday is Mardi Gras - we had planned a trip for this time months ago and had to cancel - it has worked out that we can go after all.

Now - where can we get a room for Saturday - if I can get flights out of New Orleans. I am a school teacher - so I would like to try the teacher rate at Swan - but when I called when we originally were going - they said they had no rooms for teacher rates at the Swan or Dolphin - that was back in September. Any suggestions - I really want to take him up on the offer and am checking the SWA rates now for flights.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would check out mousesavers.com or call Disney directly and see what moderate resort rooms they have available. You could also check out Southwest and their vacation packages - it may be worth a try or you can always e-mail Dreams Unlimited for a quick quote (I believe they can include airfare as well). There is a Swan and Dolphin link at the front page of this site that checks availability thru Dreams Unlimited. I checked about 45 minutes ago and they had availability at both hotels with a teacher rate for Saturday and Sunday after MG. I know you need this weekend, but give it a try. Good luck!

May be worth doublechecking with the S/D. May be someone had to cancel and you could get that after all.
