Need help - how do I view my posts and replies

I'm new to the board, and I want to know how I can see my posts. I've tried doing a search by username, but it isn't working. There are so many posts that I can't find mine to see if I have replies. Please help!

in the upper left area of the screen there is something called User CP. if you are using the default settings... clicking on this will bring up the threads you are subscribed to that have new information.

When you select User CP along the top of the screen you will also see a column of selections on the left side of the screen that comes up. One group of these is called Subscribed Threads. Under it, you can choose List Subscriptions and it will show ALL threads you have subscribed (posted) to, not just the ones that have recent posts added.

Also, when you are looking through the different boards on DIS, if you have subscribed to a thread it will have a blue box with a check mark on the right side of the box that has the title of the thread in it. This makes it easy to scan the different Boards/Forums and see the ones you have already posted to.

One other thing you can do that might be more of what you are looking for is to go to a thread where you have posted (like this one) and select (point and single click) your username. A pull down menu appears and you can choose "Find All Posts By dmomom." This will do a search for all of your threads (be patient) and if you choose one of them, it will take you staight to your post in the thread and you can scroll down from there to see if there are any replies.

The User CP only seems to work for posts you've actually clicked the drop down to subscribe to. If you've just posted to a thread it doesn't show it.
I still can't find the random posts I've posted to and not subscribed to.

But a few short answers: Search does NOT work. This includes the New Posts feature and the options from the drop down menu under your username. It is just an unfortunate side effect of this board having grown so big--we have outgrown the seach software and no alternative has been found yet.
