Need help! Going with kids and I am losing my mind!

Hey, I'm an aunt who took a niece! I think my sister gave her a "good talking-to" before we went, because my niece was an angel. My sister was very grateful that we took her daughter, and laid down the rules!!

My niece knew I wouldn't put up with any nonsense. I told her to eat or not, I didn't care. I knew if she was hungry enough, she'd eat--and she did. (I do not tolerate "picky" kids. It's my belief that a kid can't be picky if she's hungry. If they're being "picky", just wait for them to get hungry enough.)

This year, I'm taking her again--but I'm also taking her little brother, and my sister is coming too. :woohoo:

Any of you guys been to 1900 PF, Coral Reef, Tonys and Fultons with kids?? What did they eat and did they like it?

My kids are 5 & 6 so I can relate.
1900 PF - Lots of things for even a picky eater to choose from. Standard kids stuff...my kids ate well there. They loved the strawberry soup too. I considered that a serving of fruit on vacation. ;)
Coral Reef - Both my kids loved their meal here. This was the one and only pizza that DS5 ate and enjoyed. They both loved the bread and the tropical coconut smoothie thingy (again, another serving of fruit :rolleyes1 ). The mac and cheese was also very good and DD6 tried and loved the creamy lobster soup. :confused3
We have never eaten at Fultons so I can't comment.
I try to keep a 'happy medium' with my kids while on vacation. I let them indulge in things they wouldn't normally have, but I also keep a quiet eye on what they are eating.DD loves fruit so I always make sure we get some fresh fruit everyday no matter what park we are at. I wouldn't try and fight them into eating things they don't want, but I wouldn't bribe them either. They will definately not let themselves starve, but be sure to keep fluids in them (even one of those giant popsicles are a nice way) . They might very well just surprise you are what they will eat once they are caught up in the magic! pixiedust:

My kids loved Coral Reef too. :thumbsup2
DD5 had the Mac & cheese and DS9 (my seafood lover) had the kids' mahi mahi. They both loved the soup too. DD5 didn't know it was lobster soup though, she thought it was a cheese soup. It has a very creamy, cheesy taste.
