I've been trying to log onto the passholder site, but the example shown is of an AP, not an exchange certificate. I'm trying to figure out what order these numbers should be in.

Anyone logging in to the passholder area of www.waltdisneyworld.com using an exchange certificate? I've called but Disney offices are closed for the day.

Thanks
Mary

You can only log in if you have an activated pass.

It may be you can't without an actual AP. The first three digits of the AP number show where the AP was issued. (Such as WMK for Magic Kingdom.)

Yes, and my exchange certificate says WDW. What good does it do for me to not be able to access vacation information until I get on vacation. That makes no sense at all. Any discounts or anything like that that is on that site would be unavailable to me until I arrived at Disney. The trip would be planned already. There has to be a way to get the passholder info before going to Disney.

When trying to log in it says, "You must have a valid Pass or Exchange Certificate." So you can log in with an exchange certificate, if you can figure out the proper numbers to put where. I'll keep playing with the numbers.

I did call WDW. They said to call back tomorrow because only Will knows which numbers to plug into where for the exchange certificate. No one else knows.

Hmmmm.

Hi Mary,

I sent an email to Disney and inquired about this and they indicated that you currently cannot log in with the exchange certificate but that they are aware of the problem and are working on a way to correct it, but there was no time frame given.

I am in the same boat with my exchange certificate, but the site does list current AP benefits, and most other info seems to be available at Disney or other sites.

I agree with you however, you should be able to access it once you have purchased your pass. But we'll enjoy getting them activated pretty soon!! :cheer2:
