We are flying JetBlue for our first time out of Logan tomorrow morning, for WDW, and I just printed out our boarding passes. It said that we were to drop our checked bags at the self service luggage dropoff location.

So here are my questions experts:

1) I was hoping we could have the PreFlight Parking shuttle drop us off at curbside check-in. Can we still do this?

2) If we cannot use the curbside check-in how far into the airport do we have to take our luggage to the luggage dropoff location?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Yeah, the problem is, once you've checked in (online) you can't check in again (curbside). Now, you can ASK the SkyCaps if you can just check your bags there. Probably yes. Don't forget to tip.
If you can't, the self-check kiosks are right up by JetBlue's check-in counter - maybe a hundred feet?

kaytieeldr, thanks for the response. I guess we'll just use the self-check kiosks.

Have a great trip!!!
And for those of yoiu who may have a similar type issue...this is how we did it last month.
Dh dropped dd and myself off at JB...dd and I had about 4 pieces of luggage, plus our carryons. Dh drove over to the PreFlight parking lot and took the shuttle back to the terminal, with a piece of luggage to be checked.
Dd and got all checked in and went to the gate. He met us there. We found it to be much easier than hauling all those bags on board the shuttle bus and then off again to be checked. Of course, dopey dd and I didn't use curbside checkin...duh, just plain forgot.

Disney Ron, I checked in on-line for both my Oct'06 and May '07 trips. Once I got to the airport, I took my bags inside and the area for the bag drop off was in the front towards the left. The line was quite short so it was very easy to check the bags.

I am also using Jet Blue (why can't they fly out of Manchester???) for my flight next month. Again, I plan to check in on-line the night before.

Donald, thanks for the response from yourself and goofy4tink.

Would you mine very much describing how this bag drop off works.

TIA.

If you check in online you can still use curbside check in . They will take your bags and give you your baggage claim tickets . They will ask for ID and the boarding pass you printed, or they will reprint for you.

If you choose not to do it that way when you enter there are two blocks of airline desks. Jet blue is behind the first block and looking at it from the right to left ,you have self baggage check, self check in and then full service check in .

As you walk in towards the Jet Blue check in area (versus the United area which is also in the same terminal), you will see a bunch of self check in terminals. Ingore these terminals. You should see a line area behind these on the left hand side of the counter. When I went in May it did have a sign that said it was the bag check line. Enter the line and wait until your turn arrives. I believe that I showed the agent both my id and my boarding pass. They will take your bags and give you the bag receipt. You can then go to security.

Security for Jet Blue is on the right hand side of the terminal. So when you check you bags walk down towards the right. The security to the left is for the United gates.
